About the Event
Come join ORABSE in partnership with OMSI for the fourth-annual Black Community Science Night — an exciting, after-hours celebration of science, culture, and community! This special evening honors the local Black community by creating a welcoming space for families, students, and community members to come together, explore, and be inspired.
Throughout the museum, you'll find hands-on science demonstrations, live cultural performances, and engaging activities for all ages. The event also features a wide variety of local vendors, showcasing Black-owned businesses, food, art, and educational resources.
Visitors will have full access to the museum’s exhibits, including the featured experience, Monsters of the Abyss, along with interactive opportunities to connect with Black educators, scientists, and community organizations making an impact in Oregon and beyond.
Whether you're experimenting in the labs, dancing to live music, shopping local, or just enjoying a fun night out with your community — there's something for everyone at Black Community…
