It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you of the decision to postpone the 2024 Oregon Alliance of Black School Educators (ORABSE) Annual Gala scheduled for this weekend due to the predicted inclement weather.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience, and for that, we sincerely apologize. The safety and well-being of our community are our top priorities, and we believe that rescheduling the event is the most responsible course of action.

While we are truly bummed about this unexpected turn of events, we are also filled with anticipation for the following weekend, where we will have the opportunity to come together and celebrate the remarkable milestones of our Black educators.

New Event Details:

Date: Saturday, January 20, 2024

Time: 6:00pm - 11:00pm

Location: Doubletree Hotel - Lloyd Center

Note: Car Service or Rideshare Recommended

Your registration and reserved tickets will automatically be transferred to the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend on the new date, please email us so that we can make necessary arrangements.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and flexibility during these circumstances. We are committed to making the rescheduled gala an even more memorable and joyous occasion.

Ps. If you booked a hotel room at the Doubletree for this weekend, we will follow-up with a separate email to confirm your attendance and newly booked room for the following Saturday.
